In 2006, the Canadian Music Educators’ Association/ L’association Canadienne des Musiciens Éducateurs changed the medium of its newsletter. The move from print to electronic format effectively embraced a witty trilogy of eco friendliness, fiscal responsibility and technological progress and efficiency with one click of the mouse.
As was the case with the print version, the eNewsletter continues to provide a place where CMEA/ACME members and partners can share and hear about the latest ‘good news’, products, events and services offered provincially, nationally and globally. Contributors include, but are not limited to: provincial/territorial Music Educator Associations; other national organizations representative of music education and the International Society for Music Education. Keeping content current and fresh is easily attained as an automatic rotation in the editor(s) and the extent of their role is predetermined by their respective term of office.
Best enjoyed
with a cup of coffee, the eNewsletter’s ‘book teaser’ feel makes it a quick savvy read for those times when you only have the time to indulge in the highlights.
